The Homestead
The Homestead is the heart of The Nurture Project — a peaceful, nature-rich space where children can slow down, explore, and connect with the world around them.
More than a program. A place to belong.
Set within a homestead environment, this space has been thoughtfully created to feel safe, welcoming and grounded in nature. It offers children the freedom to learn through hands-on experiences, outdoor exploration and meaningful connection. Rather than a traditional program, the Homestead is designed to feel like a small village where children are known, supported and encouraged to grow at their own pace.
Our sessions are intentionally kept small to ensure every child feels seen and supported. Within this calm and nurturing environment, children are invited to build confidence, develop social skills and experience the joy of learning through play, creativity and connection with the land.

HOMESTEAD SESSIONS
Guided by children. Grounded in connection.
Sessions are intentionally designed around each child's individual needs and strengths.
Activities are guided but flexible, allowing children to follow their interests and engage with the environment in meaningful ways.
Whether caring for animals, digging in the garden, building something new or simply spending time outdoors with others, children are given opportunities to learn, grow and thrive within a supportive community.

Community for families

A place where children can simply be children.
Families are drawn to the Homestead because it offers something increasingly rare — a place where children can slow down, connect with nature and learn naturally through play, exploration and meaningful experiences.
More than a session, the Homestead is a growing community centred on nurturing children, building connection and honouring childhood.
